About Bhadli Navami
Bhadli Navami falls two days before Devshayani Ekadashi, which begins the sleep of the gods and the four months in which weddings are not held. Because it is the final good day before the pause, couples who could not marry earlier crowd into it, and in parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh it is treated as an abujh muhurat needing no almanac check. Weddings that day are often held in large numbers, sometimes in community ceremonies. The date follows the moon.
